2023 has been a game-changing year for me. While I launched G. Loebick Woodworks back in 2020, I didn’t really take it seriously as a business until January of this year when I decided to focus on making custom wood maps.
I resolved to break out of my comfort zone and started building community and seeking support and mentorship. I’ve joined different groups, taken courses, and delved into the crazy world of online advertising. I have learned so much and grown in many ways. My community and social network certainly has grown by leaps and bounds, beyond my expectations. The business has grown, and so has my resolve to keep it going.
And the growth I’ve experienced is not just on the business side of things, either. I’ve taken a hard look at my personal growth this year, and feel I have made many improvements to my mental health and overall wellness. One of my big things is to try to get more comfortable with being uncomfortable. Travel has never really been my thing, but I took that leap this year. For our 20th wedding anniversary, April and I traveled to Scotland, and it was wonderful! I’m so happy that we made that trip.
And as we close out 2023, I want to give a massive, heartfelt thank you to anyone who has followed me along this journey, purchased something from G. Loebick Woodworks this year, or showed the business any kind of love or appreciation. I look forward to seeing what 2024 brings!
